How Worldku collects, uses, and protects your data across the Hub and connected Scenes.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how LI ENZENG, who develops Worldku (the "Developer", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and otherwise processes personal data when you use Worldku, including worldku.com and related software, features, applications, websites, and services (the "Service").

Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or products that we do not control.

The Developer is LI ENZENG. For privacy and data-rights requests, contact privacy@worldku.com.

1. Personal Data We Collect

A. Personal data you provide

We may collect personal data that you provide directly, including:

  • Account information: identifiers such as your email address. You sign in with a one-time password sent to your email address.
  • Payment information: information needed to complete a paid transaction. Payment information is collected and processed by third-party payment processors or app stores. We do not store your payment-card details.
  • Input and Output: the input you submit to the Service and the output generated by the Service. If your Input contains personal data, we collect it, and it may appear in Output.
  • Communications and feedback: the content of messages, support requests, appeals, reports, and feedback you send to us.
  • Bring-your-own voice key: if you connect your own third-party voice-provider key, we use it only to process your requests and store it in encrypted form. You may disconnect it at any time.

B. Personal data collected automatically

When you use the Service, we may automatically collect:

  • device, browser, operating-system, and network information;
  • log information, such as IP address, error logs, request metadata, and interaction events;
  • usage data about how you access and use the Service; and
  • cookies and similar technologies.

Product analytics are off by default and run only after you grant consent.

C. Personal data we do not intentionally collect

We do not intentionally collect sensitive or special-category personal data, such as biometric, health, religious, financial, government-ID, or similar data, unless a future feature expressly supports that category and provides an appropriate notice.

The Service is for users 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we discover that we have collected such data, we will delete it where required.

2. How We Use Personal Data

We may use personal data to:

  • provide, maintain, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
  • create, authenticate, and manage accounts;
  • process payments and administer paid features;
  • respond to inquiries, support requests, reports, appeals, and feedback;
  • analyze usage, debug, measure performance, and perform quality assurance;
  • prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, policy violations, and illegal activity;
  • comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, resolve disputes, and protect rights, safety, and property;
  • send service-related communications and, where allowed, promotional communications; and
  • aggregate or de-identify personal data for the purposes described above.

Training

We reserve the right to use Content to train and fine-tune our models and systems by default, as described in the Terms of Service. You may opt out of the use of your Content for training, fine-tuning, and model or safety-system improvement in the Service settings. An opt-out applies only going forward and does not affect models already trained. We will not use opted-out Content to train or improve models or safety systems.

Aggregated or de-identified data that no longer identifies you is not subject to this Policy, and we may use it for the purposes described above.

3. How We Share Personal Data

We may disclose personal data to:

  • Service providers: vendors that help us provide and operate the Service, such as third-party large language model providers, cloud hosting and object storage providers, payment processors, app stores, product analytics providers, email and communication tools, safety and security vendors, and support tools.
  • Business transfer parties: parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
  • Legal, safety, and rights recipients: courts, regulators, law enforcement, government authorities, industry peers, or other third parties where we believe disclosure is needed to comply with law, enforce our terms, prevent harm, protect safety, investigate abuse, or protect rights or property.
  • Recipients you authorize: third parties when you direct us to share data or connect a third-party service.

We do not sell your personal data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service and support legitimate business needs, including legal compliance, security, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements. Your settings and account actions may affect retention periods.

When personal data is no longer needed, we will delete, de-identify, or anonymize it in accordance with applicable law and our operational requirements.

5. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so you should use care when deciding what information to submit to the Service.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, export, correct, delete, object to, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You may exercise available rights through the in-product help entry or account settings where available. In particular:

  • You may review and update account information by signing in.
  • You may export your data and delete your account from Settings > Account.
  • Account deletion is a cancelable 30-day soft delete, after which deletion becomes permanent.
  • You may opt out of the use of Content for training and fine-tuning in settings.
  • Product analytics are off by default; you may grant or withdraw analytics consent.
  • You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link, except that we may still send necessary service-related messages.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

7. Regional Notice

The Service is for users 18 or older and is not directed to, actively offered to, or actively marketed to users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.

Your personal data may be processed in different jurisdictions. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing and transfer.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version and effective date on the legal page, unless another form of notice is required by law. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you acknowledge the updated Policy.

9. Contact
